EAST HANOVER, N.J.- The East Hanover Middle School Eagles baseball team added to their undefeated winnings with a thriller 2-0 win over a very tough Pequannock team. Joey LoPinto pitched a complete game shut out, keeping the batters off-balance and striking out five. John Waldrum had a big hit in the fourth inning to drive in John Cirelli who led off the inning with a walk. At the bottom of the seventh, the Pequannock Panthers were threatening with  two on and one out when Mark Ruccio made a remarkable diving play, catching a line drive up the middle and stepping on second to seal the win in a spectacular double play and arguably, the defensive play of the year. The next opponent the Eagles face is Parsippany Central this week.
