EAST HANOVER, NJ- East Hanover girls soccer saw massive success this season as the U11 Rascals, the U12 Storm and the U14 Cheetah’s each had an incredible year.

The East Hanover Cheetahs were indomitable over the course of the past year. The girls were just promoted to EDP Division 2, which plays some of the best teams from down the East Coast including New York, Virginia, Pennsylvania and all of New Jersey.  The Cheetah’s had an astounding 30 wins, six draws and three loses over the course of the past season and the girls will be playing for the State Cup at the Middle School on April 1st at 3:00pm.

The U11 Rascals took first place in their division. The girls were unhappy being stuck in second last year and took no chances this season as they claimed their division championship. The squad saw the influx of four new players and a new goalie that really helped to cement them as a force in the league. The girls are now looking ahead to the next season starting in the spring.

The U12 Storm started four years ago in flight six. The girls have progressed every year and just played their first year in the top flight of their league. The girls did not only acclimate well to the top flight, they dominated. The Storm’s record for the season was eight wins, two draws and no loses. In addition to this, the girls took home the trophy for the annual league tournament held in the fall.

East Hanover has had some tremendous sporting accomplishments over the past year and looks to kick on in the future.
