EAST HANOVER, N.J.- The East Hanover Middle School Track team competed at the end of the season meet at Whippany Park High School and put together a very impressive performance. The team was led by captains Yasthiel  Bijou and Elliot Marken and took home six medals. Dylan Krajkovish dominated the field events, taking fifth place in the shot put and second place in the discus. Bijou took home fourth place in a very competitive 100 meter field and also placed in the long jump. Alex Yang gave it everything he had, and limped across the finish line to take sixth place in the 400 meter. Holden Kim, eighth grade competitor,also took sixth place in the 200 meter.

Rising sixth grader Hector Lopez, who competed against a much older field, took fifth in the 800 meter. Elliot Marken and Christian Cesaro both stepped up big time competing in the 1600 meter. The future is bright for the EHMS track team. The sixth grade 400 meter relay team, made up of Cesaro Lopez, Alex Amirata, and Bobby Mercuro wrapped up the meet with strong performance, giving it everything they had and finishing in torrential down pours. Kabir Arora, Justin Cohen, Giuseppe LeRose, Viren Shah and Stanley Zhang made strong contributions in their respective events, helping put East Hanover on the map an letting the rest of the county know EHMS is a force to be reckoned with. in the coming years.
