EAST HANOVER, N.J.-The East Hanover Volunteer Fire Department will be chauffeuring Santa to deliver Christmas presents on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Dec. 13-15 between 6 PM and 9 PM.
The department is requesting a $50 donation (check payable to EHFD) from each family who would like Santa to personally deliver their presents. Families going through hardship, please contact the department to make arrangements. 100% of all donations will be used towards necessary expenses and equipment for the volunteers. They also ask to wrap a small gift for Santa to present to your child. Wrap the gift and put your child’s name and address on the top in dark, clear print. This is a huge undertaking by the Volunteer Fire Department. It is very important they have the proper information for each gift so no child is disappointed.
Firefighters will visit every requested address in the Township. They will sound their sirens and activate their lights and the children can come to the engine and receive their gift from Santa and his elves. Imagine how excited your child/children would be to have Santa arrive at your residence. All you need is a camera.
