MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morris County Office of Emergency Management's weather team has indicated that Morris County will experience temperatures in the 20’s today (Friday). Snow is scheduled to move into Morris County after midnight this evening (Saturday). A period of sleet, snow, and freezing rain is expected throughout the day tomorrow. There may be a brief dry period tomorrow evening, however, rain may continue into the evening Sunday. The current data, which certainly may change, suggests snowfall ranges of 2 – 5 ” dependent on your location in the County. The higher elevations and areas in the Western portion of the County will experience higher snowfall amounts. Ice accumulations of 0.10” and rainfall in the amount of 0.50 – 0.75” are also anticipated.
