FLORHAM PARK, NJ- The Florham Park Police Department hosted its Annual National Night Out Event. Behind the walls of Borough Hall, hundreds of people gathered to enjoy free food, activities, and stations ran by FPPD, which all promoted the importance of community safety.

National Night Out is a nation-wide event in the United States, where Police Departments across the country raise awareness on safety and promotes the partnership between the police and their community.

“This is a popular event run every year that brings the community together,” said Lt. Scott Bartell. “It helps promote the services that [the department] provide[s].”

The Department was very pleased with yesterday’s turnout, and are very happy that the event grows into something larger and larger each year.
