Florham Park Police Department responded to a reported drug overdose in the parking lot of 187 Columbia Turnpike on the night of April 14th.

The call came in to dispatchers just before 10:00pm and Sergeant Christopher D’Ambola along with Officers Richard Wronski, Brian Sampson and Robert Mercuro were able to locate the victim inside his vehicle.

The 23 year old male from New Providence was exhibiting signs of an opioid overdose causing the responding officers to leap into action. The officers administered two doses of intranasal naloxone (NARCAN) to the victim and applied life saving measures that brought the victim back to consciousness.

He was subsequently transported to Morristown Medical Center by the Florham Park Memorial First Aid Squad.
