FLORHAM PARK, NJ- The New York Jets and USA Football team up to host a 7on7 Regional Championship for 24 New Jersey, Connecticut and West Virginia high school football teams this Friday, June 16th and Saturday, June 17th.

The event will be held in Florham Park’s Atlantic Health Jets Training Center and will feature pool and bracket play for participating schools. The schools will be vying in the tournament for the chance to qualify for USA Football’s 7on7 National Championship series next month. The schools participating this year are from all around the region with participation from Morristown Beard, Madison, Montclair, Morristown and Bergen Catholic, among others.

The 7on7 program put on by USA Football is the biggest high school team-based program offered in the country. It brings together high school coaches and student athletes to help prepare for their next season. This event alone will see over 200 varsity-level athletes and coaches from across the region. 2016 was the pioneer year for the tournament and featured 275 high schools and nearly 7,000 student athletes.
