EAST HANOVER, N.J.- Hanover Parks girls basketball earned a 58-45 victory over Morris Knolls in a first round Morris County Tournament game played at Hanover Park . The win capped a 3-0 week that included victories over Parsippany 56-30 and Villa Walsh 56-25. Brielle Junda led a balanced Lady Hornets squad with ten points, three rebounds , two assist and two steals against Parsippany. Megan Macaluso keyed the win over Villa Walsh with 14 points and seven rebounds. HP broke open a tied game at half vs Morris Knolls with a 19-6 advantage in the third quarter as Junior guard Kelsey Stites tallied 16 points , along with eight assist and five steals. Next up for the 14-4 Lady Hornets in MCT play is a match-up with number one seed Morristown.
