East Hanover N.J.-Hanover Parks senior 2nd baseman Amy Petrovich was named the NJAC Softball Player of the Year. Petrovich, a four year varsity letter winner collected 54 hits this past season, including 15 doubles, six triples and four  home runs.  She also scored 40 times and drove in 45 runs.

Hanover Park was also named the NJAC team of the year with a 25-7 record that included winning the MCT championships for the first time since 1979 and the North Jersey Section 2 Group 2 title.                                     Petrovich finished her career with HP with over 150 hits, 120 runs scored , 140 rbi's and a .466 batting average. She will be attending Sacred Heart College in Conecticut. on a softball scholarship this fall.
