EAST HANOVER, NJ- Pequannock's senior running back Sean Klimek returned the opening kickoff 85yds for a touchdown, which set the tone night. The Panthers, 4-1, turned up big in their conference win over Hanover Park in their game on Friday.

Hanover Park answered quickly and scored on an 11 play 61yd drive that was capped off by quarter back Donato Casolaro's 3yd touchdown run and a 7-6 lead in the first quarter. Pequannock regained the lead when their quarterback Dave Jachera scored on a 50yd touchdown and a 13-7. Once again Hanover Park tried to bounce back, but a Hornets’ fumble in Pequannock's territory after a 25yd pass reception was recovered by the Panthers and they never looked back.

Pequannock scored the next 28 points as Klimek, 21 carries for 160yds scored, ran riot with touchdown runs of 9 and 17yds. Jache who completed all three of his pass attempts, including two passes for touchdowns of 14 and 24yds, put the Panthers offense total over 350yds.

Hanover Park's Casolaro completed his first seven passes, but finished 11-19 as the Panther’s defense put a lid on the Hornets’ potent offense that had been averaging just under 400yds and 33 points a game thru its first 5 contests.

Hanover Park's Derrick Brodders scored on a 1yd run and a two point conversion to complete the scoring and a 41-15 Pequannock win. Hanover Park, now 5-1, is back in action next Friday night at home against Kinnelon.
