EAST HANOVER, N.J.- Hanover Park Softball claimed the MCT champ title for the first time in 39 years this month, with some excellent pitching, at bats and fielding. The team had a solid season and were more than ready for the title. This week as they prepare for the quarterfinal round of the state sectional, Andrew Blind, Rick Blind of Chic-Fil-A and Won Q Rim Editor in Chief of TAPinto East Hanover and Florham Park. stopped by practice with a trophy, some words of wisdom, and some of Chic-Fil-A's finest.

Rim, a Hanover Park alumni, and member of the 1990 state champion undefeated football team encouraged the girls to continue the tradition of friendship, "those formed on the field last forever". Captains Amy Petrovich and MCT MVP Jess Miller expressed gratitude for the recognition and spoke of the teamwork that brought the team where they are today.

Tonight the team will face Whippany Park at home. All are encouraged to come out and support these hard working hornets. Look for Chic-Fil-A in Morris County in 2019.
