EAST HANOVER, NJ- Hanover Park's girls tennis team earned some revenge from their loss earlier this month with a 3-2 victory over Parsippany.

In a highly competitive match that saw three of the five matches go to a tiebreaker, the Hornets prevailed with strong performances by senior Krupal Ray and sophomore Genna Dominguez. Ray won her fourth match out of the last five, going 7-6, 6-3 on the night.

The three set win by Dominguez stole the show with a grueling two hour match that sealed the win for Hanover Park. This match went back and forth and with daylight fading, but the sophomore came up big to clinch the Hornet’s third victory of the season.

The second doubles team of Asral/Chen also won for Hanover Park in a match that was decided again by a tiebreaker. The Hornets go for their 3rd win in a row on Thursday at Mountain Lakes.

Hanover Park's girls soccer were unable to get out of their rut and have lost four out of the last five games. Their early season form has taken a turn with a string of close one goal defeats that even out their record to 4-4-2. The Hornets offense was unable to find the back of the net, but Madison's Sophia Haralampoudls converted on a corner kick for the lone goal to edge the Dodgers to a 1-0 victory.
