FLORHAM PARK, NJ –The sun didn’t come out much on Saturday, but the canines sure did.

The fourth annual Bark For Life event to help fight cancer brought out hundreds of people and their pups to the Florham Park Gazebo for competition events, pooch portraits, an Instagram photo shoot and much more.

The Hanover Park Key Club sold baked goods and vendors lined the lawn for patrons, including Royal Canine Dog Training, JAG Physical Therapy, All Necked Out, Lisa Mita Photography and Three Birds Yoga Studio.

The American Cancer Society fundraiser was again by hosted by co-founders and Hanover Park High School seniors Brendan Sardo, Jason Sardo, and Derek Saul and WDHA's team DHA and Terrie Carr.

The event originated as a tribute in memory of a family friend and has since recognized Dave Minsavage, the local high school’s math teacher and baseball coach, who passed away from cancer in 2015. The proceeds from today’s event totaled $8,000.00 and about $45,000.00 in total
