MADISON, NJ - Officially announced today Madison's annual event "Halloween Hoopla" Parade & Magic Show will be on Saturday, October 29.
"The parade will begin promptly at 12:30p.m. in front of the Hartley Dodge Memorial Building, 50 Kings Road. The parade will follow Kings Rd. to Green Village Rd., right onto Main Street and will finish at the end of Waverly Pl. & Lincoln Pl. this year," said Karen Giambra, Executive Director of the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce, who sponsors the event each year. "Children as well as adults can wear their costumes into town and join what is now one of the most attended children's events in Madison," Giambra added.
A magic show follows the parade march at approximately 1:00p.m. and lasts a half hour. The show takes place at the corner of Waverly Pl. and Lincoln Pl.
The Madison Chamber will be hosting trick or treating throughout the participating downtown business district after the magic show.
The parade, magic show and trick or treating is all free to participants of the borough and surrounding area.
