MADISON, NJ - A few short months after Healthy Italia's grand opening at 55 Main Street in Madison the imported Italian specialty food market and cooking school held an open house this week to thank fellow Madison business owners for all of their support since opening.
The retail store which opened in March and the much anticipated cooking school that started classes in June also includes space for Italian language lessons and provided sold out cooking camps for kids age 4-17 during its inaugural summer.
"The community, including the local businesses have been so welcoming and we wanted to show our appreciation.” said Lisa Picinich, Healthy Italia’s General Manager.
The night included tastings of Healthy Italia products including pasta, cheese with wine jellies, and a variety of bruschette.  Merchants also had the opportunity to browse the store, which recently won the "Interior Renovation Award" from the Madison Area Chamber Of Commerce.

"Healthy Italia looks forward to many wonderful years in downtown Madison.  We believe a community of downtown businesses that work together will all succeed," Picinich added.  "The school and the retail store are happy to embrace the community vibe in town."
Healthy Italia provided cooking lessons and classes for adults and children.  Please visit for the schedule of upcoming events.
