EAST HANOVER, NJ- Maddie McLaughlin, a four year varsity softball player, has had an outstanding senior year.

She has a .529 batting average on 27 hits and has 14 RBIs for the season. Her leadership along with the other seniors’ has been one of the main reasons that the Hanover Park Ladies have a 21-3 season record. Maddie feels her hitting success this season comes from being more confident, which in turn has led to hitting safely in 19 games, with a 12 game hitting streak.

She will attend George Washington University this fall, and plans on becoming a Civil Engineer. Being a part of Hanover Park Softball for the past four years with the other seniors has been very enjoyable for her as “they are all good friends and love to hang out.” Some of her favorite games have come against conference rivals Parsippany. Maddie and her teammates are looking to advance far in the North Jersey Group 2 Section 2 tournament.
