EAST HANOVER, NJ- Jessica Miller, a junior, has been a force both on the mound and at the bat as the Hanover Park's ladies softball team has started quickly with a 5-1 record.

Jessica, who was first team all-conference as a pitcher last year, has contributed at bat with two home runs, eight RBIs and a .368 batting average through first six games. Pitching wise, she already has a no-hitter, two one hitters and has recorded 35 K's in 33 innings.

She started playing softball at an early age with encouragement from her Dad. Her best pitching attributes are her curveball and her pitch placement. She is working to improve her change-up to add a fourth weapon to her pitcher’s toolkit. Jessica plays softball all year round, as she is a member of a club team, but she also finds time to play soccer and basketball at Hanover Park. This is her third year on varsity and she is on track to pitch over 100 games in her career at Hanover Park. She would like to play in college and her dream is to attend Delaware University.
