EAST HANOVER, NJ- Senior leadoff hitter, Mike Christadore, has been a key contributor to the 14-5 Hornet's baseball team, both on offense and defense this season. He has a .400 batting average, leads the team in hits with 26 and has scored 17 runs so far.
Christadore earned All-Conference status last year and has been a varsity player since his sophomore season. He is a Yankee's fan and lives by his role model, Derek Jeter’s, quote "hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard.” This year’s team has a good mixture of seniors and juniors who work well together and have already won there conference. They now loo on to win a sectional title.
Christadore's infield hit on May 12th against Parsippany drove in the winning run in a 2-1 victory. He also made a pair of defensive gems in the two wins over Morristown Beard. He has recorded nine multi- hits games this season. One of this year’s highlights was the night game win at Lurker Park against Whippany Park. Christadore and the team were “very happy to play well in front of the local community.”
He would like to become an architect and likes to fish. Christadore has been playing baseball for as long as he can remember and his hidden talent is that he is very good at throwing a Frisbee.
