EAST HANOVER, NJ- This track season, Kiwanye Wright excelled in the 100 meter and 200 meter dash. He finished second in both the 100 and 200 meter races in the MCT held in Boonton on May 16th and 17th.

Kiwayne followed that up in the North Jersey Section 2 Group 2 races by finishing second in the 100 meter in a time of 10.95 and third in the 200 meter in 22.30. He was also part of the 4x100 meter relays team that finished first and qualified for the Meet of Champions where they placed in the Gr.2 races held in Columbus on June 3rd.

Running has been part of Kiwayne's life since the third grade when he lived in Jamaica. His track coach in Prep School inspired him to try track and his dream job is to become a track coach himself.
