ROCKAWAY, NJ- Rockaway Township Police Officer, Wilfredo Guzman, has been charged with two counts of Sexual Assault and both second and third degree counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Guzman, age 40, has been brought on these charges relating to alleged actions of sexual penetration with two minor females. One of the girls was between 16 and 17 years old and the younger was 15 during the time these actions took place.

These alleged actions occurred on various dates spanning through 2014 and 2015. It has been further asserted that Guzman not only engaged in sexual acts with these minors, but provided both females with alcohol and prescription medication.

Morris County Prosecutor, Fredric Knapp extended his thanks to “the Morris County Prosecutor’s Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit, Professional Standards Unit, Special Enforcement Unit, High Tech Crimes Unit and the Morris County Sherriff’s Office-Criminal Investigations Section whose efforts contributed to the investigation of this matter.”
