EAST HANOVER, NJ- The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for northern New Jersey.
A coastal system has been developing that is being closely monitored by the Morris County Office of Emergency Management. The system is expected to cause heavy rainfalls starting in the early morning on Saturday and increasing in coverage and intensity throughout the day.
The forecast data suggests amounts of rainfall from 1.0-1.5” with the majority to fall during the day. Winds will prevail from the east/northeast at approximately 8-16mph and gusts up to the 20s and 30s.
