Employment Horizons, a non-profit in Cedar Knolls that provides job training and placement services to people with barriers to employment, is offering a new Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Training Program! Potential students may be eligible to have their tuition funded by their local OneStop office.

This program is unique in that it will go beyond the state required 76 hour training. Employment Horizons also provides additional instruction in meal planning and preparation, First Aid/CPR certification, and job seeking skills instruction (resume writing, interview prep, time management, organization, etc). The agency has decades of experience in job skills training and placement, which will be used to help students find a job after graduation. Employment Horizons will host an on-site interview day on the last day of the program, bringing in home health agencies to hire graduates on the spot. At the end of this six week training program, students will be well prepared for a career as a CHHA.

Employment Horizons is conveniently located right off RT 10 in Cedar Knolls, near routes 287, 80, and 46. The agency is also on a bus line (with the stop a few steps away) that connects to the Morristown train station.
