EAST HANOVER, N.J.-April is Autism Awareness month. Precision Sports Performance of East Hanover, is joining Mission Fitness of Livingston, to raise awareness and funds for Spectrum Works. The mission of Spectrum Works is to provide job training and employment to young adults with autism while simultaneously building inclusive workforces with partner companies. Three years ago Joseph and Donna Romano of Mission Fitness decided to run a fundraiser, a way to support the local non-profit, that hired their son Dominick three years in his sophomore year at West Essex High School. Now, as he approaches the age of 21, aging out of high school, the Romano's as well as all parents of children with autism, develop huge concern for the future.
Spectrum works gives these extraordinary individuals opportunities. With the right support and the right environment they can be very productive. "I have seen so much growth in Dominick in so many areas since starting this program and this gives hope that he can be as successful as possible," says Donna Romano.
This year Precision Sports Performance of East Hanover has joined to help spread the word and will host workouts on April 28th benefiting Spectrum Works and all that they do. Check out the details in the flyer and contact email@example.com for any questions.
