EAST HANOVER, NJ- Hanover Park wrestling had a very successful season with a state champion at 126lbs in sophomore, Nick Raimo, a second place finish as a team in the Morris County Tournament and winning the North Jersey Section 2 Group 2 finals.

Hanover Park's season record was 17-6 and they were undefeated in their conference going 4-0. This was accomplished while having matches against some of the best teams in the state. This included DBP, S. Plainfield, Phillipsburg, Queen of Peace and #1 nationally ranked Blair.

Head coach James Lavalle wanted to challenge this team and they responded well. Two wrestlers won championships in the MCT and 11 wrestlers advanced to the regionals held in West Orange. The future is bright for the team and many returning underclassman will be back next year.
