EAST HANOVER, N.J.- The Hallways of Hanover Park High School  are alive with the creativity of the Happy Hive Hallways Club.  Ms. Kristina Rovtar, founder and advisor explains how the club came about, “I decided to start the Happy Hive Club in the 2015-2016 school year because I wanted to add some color and further beautify the hallways at HP. Our first project we completed were the pillars of character on each entrance to the school buildings.” Since then the club has grown to 15 plus participating members with many completed projects under their belts including a few murals underway, and no end in sight.

The club incorporates socialization, happiness, artistic ability, through several meetings a week, after school. The club's very interactive and involved president, Ronald Petriella, senior at Hanover Park states “I do it because I love to paint and it brightens up the school”. Along with  Petriella, many seniors started with the club and continue to spread the happiness throughout the hive now. From grassroots to a fully blossomed club, Rotvar and the students are dedicated to spreading cheer. Stay tuned for updates on their newest project, Professor Buzz in the business department at Hanover Park High School!
