This Week in Florham Park Promises Fun For Everyone




FLORHAM PARK, NJ- It’s a busy July Week in the Boro of Florham Park. Activities for all ages are taking place around town.  Movies at the Gazebo, parties at the pool and  bus trips to Citifield., there is something for everybody in the Boro.


The week kicks off with the next concert in the Summer Concert Series at The Gazebo featuring Desert Highway, an Eagles Tribute Band. The show begins at 7pm and Pizza Vita Food Truck will be on hand for some great eats. Since 1980, the concert series is free to the public, thanks to 37 years of faithful volunteer service.


Tuesday July 18, the recreation department is sponsoring a bus trip to Citifield, for the Mets vs. the Cardinals. Limited seating is available. The bus leaves the recreation department parking lot at  5 pm. For more information, contact the recreation department.  973-377-5749

Friday, July 21, the pool hosts Teen Night. Sixth through twelfth grade students are welcome to enjoy an evening swim along with pizza and hot dogs. There is a five dollar charge and the event runs from 7 to 10 pm.  This entire event is hosted by local police officers participating in the DARE program. Saturday, July 22, the Florham Park Municipal Pool is hosting Pool Day 2017. Pool day is open to all Florham Park residents, not just pool members. The day is filled with activities including races, penny dives, volley ball games, goldfish, and the famous Cannonball Splash Contest. Generously donated prizes will be awarded. Recipe of the Week: Citrus Marinated Steak


1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 lemon juice
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
1 TBS garlic, minced
1 tsp. black pepper
½ tsp. salt
