FLORHAM PARK, NJ - A vehicle recently stolen from a driveway on Village Road was subsequently found in Newark after being used in several crimes.

On February 8, 2017, Florham Park Police responded to a residence on Village Road for a report of a stolen motor vehicle out of the driveway. The vehicle, a gray 2015 Lexus LS460, was reported to have been stolen between 10:30pm – 11:30pm. The vehicle was left unlocked and the key fob was in the ignition. On February 13, 2017, the stolen vehicle was used in several armed robberies in Newark, NJ. Following the crime spree, the vehicle was located unoccupied in Newark.

Residents are reminded to always lock their vehicles and to remove the keys, key fobs, and all valuables from the interior of the vehicle.
