LIVINGSTON, NJ - At approximately 9:30 p.m. last night, the township of Livingston sent out a mass automated phone message to Livingston residents to inform them of a significant water main break on route 10 near Raceway gas station.

Residents water service may be interrupted or residence may experience lowered water pressure or water discoloration.  The Livingston DPW has been working on the scene and will restore normal water service as quickly and safely as possible.

As of 7:00 a.m. the Livingston Police Department reported that the DPW is still working and that motorists should expect some delays this morning on route 10 heading east bound.  State workers are also expected on the scene shortly.
