East Hanover N.J.: Senior Drew Bayait and Sophmore Nitish Kasarla were key factors in Hanover Park's boys tennis team, best in the school's history. This first doubles team of Bayait and Kasarla won many important matches, giving the Hornets a 12-2 record. The boys earned First Team All Conference and helped the team qualify for the state tournament.
Head Coach Tara Geissar called Bayait her best captain and a true leader. His dream job would be as a computer engineer and his role model is former US goalie goalie Tim Howard. He will be attending Michigan State next fall and he enjoys pizza and going to Nantucket. Manchester United is his favorite Professional team which ties in to his other sport at Hanover Park. Winning the conference for the first time in Hanover Park's history was his biggest accomplishment. The team dedicated every game to alumni and former player Nick DePhillips who always believed in them. A fun fact about Drew is he likes to learn card tricks.
Kasarla was the second part of this successful doubles duo. His Favorite quote is, "The only thing to fear is fear itself." He enjoys watching soccer, basketball, baseball and football. His favorite teams are the New York Giants and Yankees. Vacations to Disney and eating pizza are things he enjoys, along with watching The Office on Netflix. Kasarla also plays soccer at H P and if he had a super-power it would be teleportation so he could go anywhere at anytime he wanted to.
