Has your basketball team’s season come to a close but you would like to keep playing through the end of the school year?
Join the Madison Area YMCA’s new co-ed intramural basketball league for high school students in grades 9-12. The league runs Tuesday, April 17 through Sunday, June 17. Games are played on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 6:30pm or 8pm at the Madison Area YMCA Family Center’s Gymnasium.
Participants may form teams of their own or register to be placed on a team. A maximum of eight teams will consist of six to twelve players each. Teams are not required to have a coach; but may appoint one. There is no official gym time for practices. A game schedule will be announced a week prior to the start of the season.
Teams play seven regular season games. Playoffs will have two brackets: four teams with the top records play in Bracket A, and four teams with lower records play in Bracket B. Winners play for Bracket A and Bracket B championships.
Registration is going on now online or in person: $25 Members; $50 Non-members.
