Its time for one of Florham Park's shining moments. The Fourth of July parade is not only the kick of to summer, it continues the legacy of being among the oldest Independence day celebrations in New Jersey. this year the festivities are set and the schedule of events is as follows;
9:00am Flag raising ceremony at the Florham Park Fire House
9:30am Parade begins on Ridgdale Avenue and Brooklake Road
10:30am-3:00pm Family Picnic at Borough Hall Lawn
Fun for the kids includes: bounce house, water slides, trackless train, wrecking ball, extreme obstacle course, and more
12:00pm-3:00pm Social Garden **Must be 21 or older Ticket required * 5.00
Refreshments with tickets include hamburgers hotdogs pretzels soda and water. Also italian ice ice cream available for cash only
The Florham Park Police Department have issued the following:
The entire parade route will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC beginning at 8:30am on July 4, 2018. Requests for overnight parking the night before the parade will not be granted. Please obey all no parking signs along and in the vicinity of the parade route. If you will be hosting guests, please advise them to arrive prior to 8:30am. If you will be leaving your residence, please do so prior to 8:30am. If you leave and will be returning to your home, please ensure you are back prior to 8:30am. Once the parade route is closed, no traffic will be permitted in the closed area, without exception. Please plan accordingly.
