BDS Discussion led by Rabbi David Levy, AJC

Rabbi David Levy, Regional Director of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), New Jersey, will be speaking about the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) Movement at a luncheon meeting sponsored by the Renaissance Group of Temple B’nai Or, Morristown.

According to Wikipedia, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement is a Palestinian-led campaign promoting various forms of boycott against Israel until it meets what the campaign describes as Israel's obligations under international law, defined as withdrawal from the occupied territories, removal of the separation barrier in the West Bank, full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and “respecting, protecting, and promoting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties”.

All are invited to join us for this important presentation and conversation.  Reservations are required.  Call Mitzi Szerlip at 973-839-1939.  Price for Renaissance members, $15, guests $20.
