The Wonderful World of Laurel and Hardy: Another Nice Mess – As individual vaudeville and film actors, they were adequate; but as on-screen partners, they achieved comic genius. From silent films to shorts to full length feature films, these two clowns learned how to play off each other to repeatedly invent yet “another nice mess.”  Using film clips, biographical anecdotes, and class discussion, this presentation will explore the unique cinematic chemistry of these lovable “overgrown playmates” and what makes their films such a popular and critical success.

East Hanover Man Charged with Murdering Wife

EAST HANOVER, NJ – A 74-year-old East Hanover shot his wife to death on Thursday, according to authorities.

The man, Alexander Jacobs, of Selmar Terrace, faces charges of first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree possession of prohibited devices, said the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office in a statement.
