Suspected Fire Activity at East Hanover McDonalds

EAST HANOVER, NJ - According to breaking news alerts, the McDonalds at 305 NJ-10 in East Hanover had its Ansul system activated. An Ansul system is a pre-engineered, automatic fire suppression system that can tackle large, hazardous fires without human intervention. 

The fire department on the scene reported no clear cause. The restaurant was closed and the health official notified.

Two Men on the Run in East Hanover on Rt. 10 Near Hanover Commons

EAST HANOVER, NJ - Two men are being chased on foot near Hanover Commons at 240 Rt. 10 in East Hanover.

They are described by the police as being two black men wearing long pants that were last seen in the area of the bus stop. 

One suspect may still be in the store at the Commons.

Gov. Murphy to Send 135 National Guardsman to Florida to Support Relief Efforts

TRENTON –Today, 135 New Jersey National Guardsmen have been deployed to Florida to support relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Ian, which made landfall yesterday as a Category 4 storm, announced Governor Murphy.
