Hanover Township Youth Football, Cheerlead and Rec Department Hosting Sunday Funday

HANOVER, NJ - On Sunday May 23rd the Hanover Township Youth Football and Cheerleading along with the Hanover Township Recreation is hosting a Sunday Funday event.

Hanover Park Golf Team Comes Up Short vs. Madison

MADISON, NJ - Madison improved to 9-1 on the season following a 143-202 victory over Hanover Park and a 143-177 win over Mount Olive on Friday.

Devan Patel shot a 34, while Nathan Tallinder and Michael Scheier both finished with a 36.

The team will compete in the NJSIAA Tournament at Bowling Green Golf Course on Monday May 10

MADISON, NJ - Madison (3-2) lost to Hanover Park, 10-3, on Wednesday. Hanover Park had a 9-5 edge in hits. For Madison, Sophia DeCaro went 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored, and Gwen Tuhy had an RBI.

MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown edged Hanover Park, 1-0, on Friday, improving to 1-1 on the year. Shane O’Neill pitched a complete game, allowing four hits with six strikeouts and one walk.

Fuel Spill Stops Traffic in East Hanover Saturday Afternoon

EAST HANOVER, NJ - Hazmat was called in to a situation on Rt. 280 West Saturday afternoon in East Hanover.

At approximately 2pm, at mile marker 2.2 there was a large fluid spill in the middle of the highway on Rt. 280 Westbound.  Hazmat was requested to the scene.  The cleanup caused traffic delays.
