MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Arts Unbound, which previously had pop-up stores in the community, will now have a permanent retail location at 100 Baker Street in Maplewood. The opening of the Arts Unbound Showcase will be celebrated on Sat., Oct. 10, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon.

Arts Unbound provides visual arts education and professional development to people living with mental, physical, and developmental disabilities and seniors. An email from Arts Unbound explains their "goal is to help emerging artists compete in the retail market, and the new Showcase is an exciting new part of that effort."

The Arts Unbound Showcase will feature a variety of works by artists and artisans, including jewelry, textiles, ceramics, fine art and limited edition prints. Arts Unbound currently represents over 60 senior artists and artists with disabilities.
