We are celebrating a life well lived, that of recently deceased Dr. Maya Angelou. We will fondly remember her articulate utterances and writings. She was an inspiration to all who experienced her gifts as author, educator, entertainer and possessor of extraordinary human spirit, strength, perseverance and optimism. Rising from humble beginnings, Dr. Angelou enjoyed international acclaim, a Pulitzer prize, Tony and Grammy awards, many honorary degrees and recipient of the Presidential medal of Freedom.
