ORANGE, NJ - In the wake of several tragic fires in the area, Orange Mayor Dwayne D. Warren, Esq. is asking local residents to participate in a city sponsored home fire preparedness initiative beginning this weekend.
Saturday, March 7, 2015 will mark the first in a series of home fire preparedness canvassing events in Orange. Volunteers from the Red Cross, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the Orange Fire Department will be going door-to-door in select neighborhoods and offering free smoke alarm installation in homes that need them.
