EAST ORANGE, NJ - Mayor Lester Taylor, Councilwoman Sharon Fields, (Chairwomen of the Heath & Education Committee) the East Orange City Council, city staff and residents of East Orange will celebrate the life and legacy of the late Garry Branch with a Community Blood Drive on Wednesday May 21, 2004 beginning at 10:00Am - 3:00PM.

Garry served in the City Clerk’s office for over twenty (20) years before succumbing to the effects of a prolonged illness. During his tenure he was known as the consummate professional and the personification of a polite public servant. 

Donors must be at least 16 year of age (those under 18 must have written consent from their parents or guardian); in general good health and weigh at least 120 pounds.

The Drive will take place in front of City Hall 44 City Hall Plaza. The Blood Center of New Jersey will supply a blood mobile vehicle on location for your convenience.
