Council Chairman Ted Green Joining ChangeMaker Radio Show as Guest

EAST ORANGE, NJ - This Saturday (September 3rd), Councilman Theodore “Ted” R. Green will be joining the ChangeMakers Radio Show as their special guest.

Councilman Green was first sworn into office in 2006 and re-elected to a third consecutive term in 2013 as representative for the 3rd Ward.  During that time, he has chaired the Business Development and Zoning Committee, member of the Finance and Health and Education Committees.

Most recently, Councilman Green was elected Council Chairman by his fellow Council colleges and thereby sits as ex-officio member of all standing committees including Liaison to the Mayor, the Essex County Board of Freeholders, the New Jersey State Legislature, the United States Congress and the Parking Authority. Other appointments include, member of the Negotiation Team, member of the Personnel Committee and a member of the Board of School Estimates

The Change Makers radio show has been making waves since it aired in October of 2015. Each week it features politicians, entertainers, film makers, and entrepreneurs alike along with other very notable guests. The co-hosts Royston Allman and Doshon Farad bring a combined twenty years of experience in broadcasting. 2nd Annual Love & Not Hate March Today in East Orange

EAST ORANGE, NJ - This morning the Rev. Al Sharpton will join East Orange Mayor Ted Green for their 2nd Annual Love & Not Hate March against gun violence at 8:00 AM. 

The March will begin at Hollywood Ave & Central Avenue in East Orange and will work its way to Oval Park. Once at the park there will be youth activities, vendors, music, school give-a-ways and much more.
