Councilman Ted Green Host 1st Annual Ted R. Green Foundation Golf Invitational at the East Orange Golf Course


EAST ORANGE, NJ - 8:00 AM Last Wednesday, October 11th Councilman Ted R. Green held a golf invitational fund raiser for the Ted R. Green Foundation at the East Orange Golf Course on 440 Parsonage Hill Road in Short Hills. 

The early morning gala attracted dozens of generous contributors and foundation supporters. 

The Ted R. Green Foundation is a 501©3 nonprofit organization that is committed to building on the Councilman’s 20 years of active community engagement to see higher education as a catalyst, an agent of change for individuals, families and communities.

The Foundation envisions a community that recognizes the importance of educational attainment and ensures positive educational outcomes accessible to all regardless of economic circumstance; doors will not be closed to those who lack financial resources.

The Scholarship Foundation provides access to postsecondary education to members of the community who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their education goals.

The Foundation’s Mission

Empower our urban youth to be college and career ready and provide financial assistance that will further their education so they may reach their truest potential. 

They are committed to our goal of increasing our public/private partnerships.  So they may respond positively to future scholarship recipients.

They are committed to ensuring that their scholarship recipients, through our public/private partnerships receive the necessary knowledge and skill sets necessary to be successful and contributing members of the community.
