EAST ORANGE, NJ - Communities all across the country will pause in remembrance of the many families impacted by the events of September 11, 2001. Undoubtedly this day will forever be etched in our collective hearts and minds.
Chairman Ted R. Green along with the entire East Orange City Council delegation has planned an interfaith prayer vigil to highlight the sacrifice and service of those brave men and women.
The Vigil is a call from City leadership to leadership from every religious tradition to jointly pray for peace and solidarity in our community, our country and our world.
All residents are invited to attend and to bring candles or flashlights to signify the many lights that went out on September 11th.
The event will take place September 11, 2017 8:00 PM on the steps of City Hall 44 City Hall Plaza East Orange.
