EAST ORANGE, NJ - DaVita, a leading provider of kidney care in the United States, will welcome U.S. Representative Donald Payne on March 11 10:30AM to its East Orange DaVita® Dialysis Center. During the visit, Rep. Payne will have the chance to learn firsthand about how the proposed cuts to Medicare reimbursement could jeopardize the care that the dialysis centers can offer patients in the future. The congressman will tour the center and speak to patients and learn about chronic kidney disease, a silent epidemic that affects more than 20 million people over the age of 20 in the U.S., 90 percent of whom are unaware they are affected by the disease.
