East Orange Family Success Center and Ampere Civic Improvement Association Host Black Friday Film Screening & Vendors Event


EAST ORANGE , NJ - The East Orange Family Success Center and Ampere Civic Improvement Association team with film maker Ric Mathis, as he Premiers his latest version in The Black Friday Film " Black Friday 2 in 70 Cities around the world. 

The film speak to the economic power in the Black community in the United Sates and around the world. Black Friday 2 “The Living Legacy World Tour” is an inspiring film that chronicles Ric Mathis’ personal journey around the globe, inspiring people to embrace their Global Living Legacy. 

Kennedy Stewart a 10 year old entrepreneur narrates this journey, which celebrates black women as the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in America. This Film offers 7 practical principles to build a financial and ethical living legacy. A two part strategy to create your own living legacy.

Featuring David Banner, Les Brown, Jewel Tankard, Judge Lauren Lake, Dr. Boyce Watkins, and more; Ric Mathis is very passionate about giving back to the community. He has a history of over 10 years of working closely with the Atlanta Department of Education, agencies and social service organizations to insure community involvement and knowledge of community resources for various individuals served. He has taught therapeutic activities and provide family and individual counseling, developed plans of action for families to address issues through coping strategy incorporation and family conferencing mediation. 

He has also created partnerships with community/youth based organizations to provide assistance to families. Advocate with human service/health organizations, courts/judicial system and other various companies and agencies. Conduct educational groups with juvenile offenders/parents to assist committed youth with re-entry and basic life skills training. To help ensure that we leave a Lasting Legacy in the community.

East Orange Family Success Center, and Ampere Civic Improvement Association present this Black Friday 2 Film Screening and Vendor Event that will feature music, light refreshments, and 15 vendors creating an atmosphere to support black vendors and keep Black Friday dollars in the community. This Event is Free to enter and watch the two screenings Black Friday Original Film will screen at 2PM. The new film "Black Friday 2": “The Living Legacy World Tour” will screen at 4PM  Both screening will be followed with discussion. Business people are encourage to bring business cards. The event will be at African American Fund Building 132 South Harrison Street East Orange, New Jersey 07018 from 1PM to 6PM Friday November 24, 2017.
