East Orange Farmer’s Market Extends Hours to Include Jazz on the Plaza Tonight 8/29/17

EAST ORANGE, NJ - Join The City of East Orange for an evening of music, food, and fun as the weekly East Orange Farmers Market, that has been bringing fresh produce from NJ farmers, artisan venders and specialized food trucks during the month of August, teams with Jazz at the Plaza Tuesday August 29, 2017 outside City Hall 44 City Hall Plaza beginning noon and ending after the concert at 8:00PM

The Farmers Market (active August 1 - October 31) has been bringing East Orange a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables from local growers, including East Orange produced honey by local beekeeper Royston Allman, beauty products from former Manufacturer’s Village tenant, Pooka Pure and Simple and a varied selection of juice and cooked food items from local merchants.  

In addition to the Market, this week the Department of Recreation in partnership with the East Orange Council of the Arts will join the festivities and host the Annual Jazz on the Plaza.

Jazz on the Plaza has for many years been a town favorite event. The featured guests tonight will be the Greg Bufford Group and steel drum sensation, Steele X Plosion (SXP).
