EAST ORANGE, NJ - Olusala Sisters Productions announced recently that it has received two prestigious nominations for its first production, Devil’s Work: The Web Series. Co-produced by East Orange residents, Denise Olusala and Rossy Olusala, Devil’s Work spotlights the trials and tribulations of the corporate work structure through a five-episode, fantasy-drama series.

Devil’s Work: The Web Series was nominated for the Monthly November Edition of the Mindie - Miami Independent Film Festival under the category of Web Series along with a nomination in the upcoming Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF) for Best Web Series.

In a recent interview with TAPinto corespondents it was discovered that Denise and Rossy Olusala, with no formal background or education in film and production, wrote, casted, directed and edited their first production, “Devil’s Work” and have even bigger plans for the future. Their scripts come from their own imagination and life experiences.

Co-producer, writer, and director Denise Olusala commented, “While the series is set in a fantasy world, Devil’s Work is a really relatable story. After years of working in the corporate world, I found that my colleagues and my peers were feeling undervalued and overworked. The concept that we all worked for ‘the devil’ ignited another passion of mine, writing and producing; from that moment forward my sister, Rossy, and I began working on Devil’s Work.”

Devil’s Work depicts the evolution of a young, timid assistant’s (Brooke Guido) journey to prove herself as an asset to her boss, the Devil (Arthur Gregory Pugh). With the decrease of souls being collected into the underworld, the Devil focuses his frustrations and attention away from a resolution and onto his Assistant. Despite her ability to present new strategies for the company, the Assistant is left exhausted and degraded. To validate her position and growth within the company, she devises a plan with her best friend, Personal Trainer (Dennis Joel Henriquez) to arrange an intervention for the Devil, but ultimately finds her own voice.
