East Orange's Summer Food Program Receives USDA Award for Second Year in a Row!

EAST ORANGE, NJ - The Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs is receiving the USDA Summer Food Program Award for the second year in a row. On Monday, Director Osner Charles, joined by Ravi Boze-Adams, presented the city’s Summer and After School Food Program before the NJ Assembly’s Women and Children’s Committee to move six bills in support of the program. All six passed!

Congratulations to the entire team for their tireless commitment to making sure that no child in East Orange is left hungry!
