EAST ORANGE, NJ — During the 10 PM hour Wednesday night, ambulance and police lights filled the night sky on Sherman and N. Arlington Ave.

A man being transported to the hospital stabbed an EMT worker on the way. The incident prompted the emergency vehicle to pull over right away. Another ambulance came swooping in and transferred the injured worker away from the scene. Police cars soon followed and law enforcement was heard trying to defuse the situation. "Calm Down" shouted the police, at the irate man before securing him in the emergency vehicle.

There were no deadly injuries reported.
