EOPD Arrest Thirteen and Seize Over $300,000 Worth of Drugs in "Operation Quick Strike"


EAST ORANGE, NJ - The East Orange Division of Police Criminal Investigation Division arrested 13 people and seized over $318,000.00 worth of narcotics, $68,000.00 cash and seven (7) illegal weapons as a result of several undercover investigations dubbed “Operation Quick Strike” which were prompted by citizen complaints and anonymous tips.

These investigations took place over the course of the past several months and were not connected.

The resulting arrest included the seizure of 2.9 kilos of cocaine, 1.1 pounds of molly, 7 grams of heroin and 641 grams of marijuana for a total street value of $318,000.00, 7 handguns including one reported stolen out of Arkansas and $68,000.00 cash.
